Mother's work is never done...

So today I planned on taking a nap after church, since youth group was canceled this week and we did not have to be at the Visitor's Reception till nearly 6 hours after church. I went and laid down planning on cleaning when I got up, I woke up to the sink being on for what felt like in my mind too LONG, so I go to our playroom/schoolroom/office and see hair on the desk (mind you the only one with hair long enough to cut is my daughter's) I go to the kid's bathroom and ask her who cut their hair, she looks at me with a total straight face, "I don't know who it was Mama, you should ask Eli." She turns her face and 4 inches of one side of her hair is cut!!! The funniest part of this story, I was JUST telling someone this morning that I have been lucky with all the times my daughter uses scissors she has never once cut her hair! Guess my daughter is trying to keep me on my toes, and I doubt this will be the last time. God please help me guide her with patience and  love while also enjoying her adventurous spirit!

Life is busy but blessed...

Man I can say I have never and I mean never been more busy in all my years, but I do have to say it is such a blessing to be doing the stuff I absolutely LOVE doing. I really am looking forward to For The Broken taking off and God doing something amazing in this ministry, I can't wait to pour the love God has given me and touch the lives of others. I do pray in all this my family stays strong with the harsh demands of such a impacting ministry, life may get hectic, but I know God will give us peace, comfort and patience, teach us to slow down when needed and to go out and do His work also. Seeing each day unfold with new potential to change lives is such a thrill. MAN I can't wait, New Year's Eve is our first big event and I pray it brings in the very people God needs to touch, that people see Him always in what we do, that it is never us ourselves but always Him guiding us.

Recently I have been very much on fire about the COMPASSION of Christ, that our love for others should be comparable to His. With His grace and mercy, how He loves the sinner, but not the sin. Lord let that be the back bone of this mission, that we LOVE all people as you do with no boundaries, help us ROCK a city with the LOVE, OVER POWERING LOVE of JESUS!! AMEN!!
